Does anybody know where I can get a couple of suicide knobs for my motorhome and pick-up? I have hand controls on each vehicle and its hard to make turns one handed and a suicide knob would sure help.
Thank you,
David Wilkinson

Welcome to the Forum David! I would probably check the larger truck stops like Flying J or maybe the JC Whitney catalog.

I saw them at Lowes last week. They were in the area where repair parts for lawn mowers were.

We called them "NECKER KNOBS". They are here with a bunch of old neat car stuff.

Ask the youger generation about suicide knobs, and you will most likely draw a blank stare. I haven't seen one in years!! Good to know they still make 'em!

Just a side note - The use of suicide knobs is illegal in most states, unless the primary operator is Disabled, (As I assume to OP is due to the hand controls). Check with your state before installing.

I am only mentioning this so that someone does not read this, run out and get some, and then get a ticket.

That sight sure did bring back some memories. They even have curb feelers but it seems like we called them curb finders.
