I built some new leveling ramps this week. I had some, but I want two that were taller and lighter than what we had.

My what a work of art these are! Nicely done. I carry some 2 x 12's about 2' long that I can use. I got very fancy and cut the ends off at a 45 degree angle to make it easier to drive up on them. Yours are much more attractive!

Lynx Levelers

Best price I found was Wal*Mart

Work good for me, and they are light, on the down side they do take up more room than I would like...

I use the plastic type but have gone thru a few as they break when cold.

Thanks for the ideas, Brad... sometimes where I go, I cannot find enough rocks and logs around... sometimes I need upwards of 12"- 18" depeding on terrain! This concept along with natural blocking will be a big help!

I use the long yellow ramps from Camping World. They have two levels: two inch and four inch. I carry three of them on the theory that I shouldn't have to level more than three wheels (one stays on the ground). These have worked for me in all but a few more extreme situations. I almost never have to go through the hassle of dropping the jacks.
