Just check your mirrors every so often and make sure it's still back there.

I don't think you will have any trouble getting up the hill. Almost any combo will get you up the hill unless you are so out of wack you smoke your tranny. As a retired Locomotive Engineer, most of the time the trick is not getting up the hill, but getting down the other side and still being in control. I have an F250 Stroker with an exhaust brake. I don't like riding the brakes to get down hills. (Out of control) are three words I really don't like to hear. Happy Camping.

We also have a 29RK and our truck isn't even a diesel, so I think you will be more than fine.

DW and I pull our 07 29RK Cruiser with our 04 Dodge 2500 5.7 Hemi gasser. We have no trouble pulling so far around the southeast with our up and down terrain: so you should definitely have no trouble pulling with your diesel. Good choice in the RV. We love ours. Good luck & happy camping.

We pull our 07 cf30sk cruiser with an 07 f250 5.4l around the midwest and the south east with no problems. We have 2wd and 4.10 ls with the 5 speed auto. You should be fine.
