Hello:

We are strongly considering an Allegro 34 TGA for our first MH. It seems to suit all our needs very well, the quality seems good, since it's a Tiffin.

Our main consideration is whether or not the Workhorse is worth $5,000 more than the Ford. I would love to hear from TGA owners who would be kind enough to give me some advise. Anything you can tell me about this coach, both pro and con, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

John, we purchased a 34 TGA in July and love it. We paid the difference for the Workhorse for several reasons.

First drive them both (Ford and Workhorse/Chevy) and see for yourself if at all possible. I personally feel the Allison transmission on the Workhorse is worth the difference. I also thought the Workhorse was quieter than the Ford, although there may be others who think otherwise.

Either way you go, you will find the 34-TGA to be a fantastic coach. We have had ours out on three trips now and can find nothing to complain about.

Good luck,

Van

As stated above, you owe it to yourself to drive both.

When we got ours, two identical 34wa's were sitting next to each other. I drove them both. There was no comparison for me, and the difference in cost and the reason for it was obvious to me.

Good luck on whatever you decide. Really, for your own edification, drive them both.

I guarenteeeeeeeee!, the $$$$$$$ comparison/difference will not be the issue.

I have a Allergo 34 tga with the Ford engine, it is great I have had it almost 15,000 miles on it now and I am leaving on a 1000 mile trip on Saturday. It is loaded with all my gear and I am towing my Cadillac Deville with me .I have had no problems towing the car on this trip twice before. I traded in a 04 allergo 32 Da with the workhouse engine. This engine seems to work just as good.I ran from Texas to California at 77 miles per hours with no problems. Dave
