#1 had frying noise in Dolby 5.1 speakers (main) DVD player died on second trip
#2 had low frequency rumble (in subwoofer) when playing CD
#3 had intermittant (like thunder) low frequency rumble and high freq hiss when playing a CD
#4.....supposed to be tested by dealer prior to shipping to me.
Note..#2 and #3 are supposed to be the "new, improved" version....a sticker on the back say XZ550, though the front panel still says "zx600". The 550 has an RF coax connector on the back, where the original ZX600 did not. Not sure how going down with model numbers denotes "improved" but the whole Concertone debacle is a mystery at best.

We have the basic Concertone am/fm/tape/cd unit in our trailer and it works just fine. I added a 17" Venturer LCD to our unit that I bought at Canadian Tire. Interesting that Forest River is using Venturer to replace Concertone.

Just got our Rockwood 8315 ss Concertone Problems and alot of questions. Fancy remote will not work the tv, did not get a reg tv remote, should there be one, the main unit will put out tv sound but will not power on the tv or change channels, is it hooked up right or what, does anyone know how to operate this unit, also this lcd tv, will it work in 2009 or is it just anolog. Thanks
We have a rockwood 8317ss. Bought in Oct 2007. On our 3rd time using the trailer, the cocertone failed. Dealer replaced it with the new zx600 (old was zx500). Got No manuals and can not find any online. I'm expierencing the same problems as alakrazam. What gives with this piece of junk cocertone. When it worked before it was great. We just love this trailer(big move from tenting), but from the money everything should work!
