Well why not start our own forum topic.
Our favorite is right here, about 45 minutes from us. Strathcona Park / Buttle Lake. We love it because it has a wonderful beach walk for more than a mile that takes you away from the "official" park beach. The scenery is spectacular, boating is awesome, sites are spacious and well kept. It's a no service park, hand pumped well water only, pit toilets, no running water, no electricity or cell phone service either, so come prepared.

Well this past season we went to Mabel Lake PP north of Lumby, and Hearld PP on the Shushawp Lake. We stopped in and looked at Sugar Lake FS north of Cherryville, but was told if we weren't in by Thursday of a long weekend, don't bother coming out. All three were nice, so I can't put my finger on one yet. When I was a kid living down on the coast, we would camp a lot at the numerous PP at Cultus Lake. I like those too. The hike up Teapot mountain to the look out is good and the view spectacular.

In Strathcona Park, I prefer the Ralph River campground to the Buttle Lake one. More old growth, and closer to trails at the south end of the lake.
Ruckle on Saltspring is one of my favorites. There are only a few small, and dark drive in sites, but a number of outstanding walk in sites. Great hiking in the park and elsewhere on the island, plus shopping in Ganges.
Goldstream is too busy to get into without reservations in the summer, but has good hiking.
Premier Lake over by the Rockies is another good one.
Mable Lake is pleasant, especially if you like near-lake sites, or watching ground squirrels.

The best campground in BC has to be Haynes Point in Osoyoos. Built on a natural sandbar that juts out into the lake, most sites are right on the water, and many have their own private beach. Trouble is , it's almost impossible to get into.
Never miss an opportunity to walk on the grass.

We love Ligtening Lake at Manning or any of the campgrounds in Manning Park. Will also second Strathcona Park on Van Island. Also Rathtrevor Beach in Parksville.

We mostly camp in BC Provincial campgrounds and keep a log of the good the bad and the ugly ones. I must say there isn’t to many ugly entries in out log book for BC Provincial campgrounds.
The problem with the post is if I give out my answers more and more people will go to use them. ………. .
OK here is a list but I’m not going to give the best site numbers:
Lost Ledge
McDonald Creek
Meziadin Lake
Boya Lake
Kettle River
Muncho Lake
Wells Gray
Kikomun Creek
Mount Robson

I would have to vote for Boya Lake up in the northern part of BC.

The park operator kept the outhouses at Lost Ledge stocked with flowers when we were there.
Kettle River is nice, but was a bit buggy when we stayed there in June.
Wells Gray has great waterfalls, good hikes, and back country canoeing.
Carmanah deserves a mention, though I wouldn't recommend it for any RV except slide-in camper with everything battened down.

Another vote for Boya Lake and Muncho Lake. If the sun is out, you could not ask for more beautiful spots.
