I will also precook and freeze packages of Chili Verde with pork or chicken, "real" homemade Mac and Cheese and Chicken Curry with Veggies and Pineapple. I just put it in freezer bags and then put them in near-boiling water until warmed through. I usually put a single serving in each bag and I have kids and agult sizes. Another idea is to thaw it out in hot water in the sink and then nuke it, but I always transfer to a microwave safe bowl and will not nuke in plastic bags. I don't like the chemical leaching stories I hear about that.

Go to the "search" block on top of page. Type recipe archive and select GO. There is a complete online cookbook compiled by Rv.Net contributors. Lots of tried and proven recipes, and if you have a laptop and wifi always with you!

Hi Rhonda! Welcome to the forum. All the advice you've gotten here is good. There are some GREAT cooks who contribute here. Many of their recipes are easy to make and geared for camping.

And don't apologize for not liking to cook. (I much prefer eating, too!)

Try this for quick and easy - 500 3-Ingredient Recipes: Simple and Sensational Recipes for Everyday Cooking There are also 3, 4 and 5 ingredient recipes on the internet. I prefer to take the actual cookbook with me, rather than maybe not have internet or printing out the recipes. Less ingredients means less to pack/buy. Still the meals are delicious!

We basically cook and eat like we do at home with the exception of cooking most of our meats on the grill. We just got back from a 4 1/2 week trip and made everything from chili,to homemade vegetable beef soup, spaghetti, blueberry pancakes and muffins for breakfast and even microwave fudge for a rally. I found a great cookbook at Camping World, don't remember the exact title but all the recipes use only 5 ingredients. You may want to look for this next time you are in a Camping World.

I always like to pre-make and put in a aluminum bread pan meatloaf. Great when it's cold or raining. Also it keeps the MH warm inside...
