First of all, a BIG Thank You to everyone that takes the time to answer all these questions! You Senior Members are GREAT!

I have been trying to decide whether to spend the money and rent a slot at a storage shed or buy a cover for the winter in Kentucky. I have the room at my home to park my 24' TT.

I have heard that the sheds can draw mice, and it would be 5 miles from my home. I was thinking I might want to do some small projects on my TT if the weather permits.

However, I have also heard of TT covers doing damage to the trailer. (Rubbing, Mold etc.) Any thoughts or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

ADCO cover has a waterproof roof and breathable side panels. All soft and won't damage the trailer.

A blue poly tarp will cause all sorts of problems, I covered my boat once with one and it took several hours to restore the boat's finish.

Just pull the gutter extensions off if you fitted them and perhaps use some carpet scraps on any sharp corners.

This cover is zippered to allow access. Keeps the ice out of all the crevices.

In the $200 range. Only problem is getting up on the roof to put it on, but it's packaged to roll our and drop down the sides.

Our new cover is a large barn at the county fairgrounds.

I pay for indoor storage all year. When we are not in it, it is stored and protected. I have spent a small fortune on D-con in the storage area and so far have not seen signs of critters in the motor home. Our outside finish still looks very good.

RV dealers are getting rid of their trailers on a monthly basis. Covering yours makes sense if you intend to keep it for a while.

Main issue in our region is snow and ice and the thaw-freeze cycle. Does wonders for highway pavements and will do the same with your trailer by filling the small cracks, freezing and busting them open, then thawing and filling again, etc. You know the cycle.

Last year we bought the Adco cover from CW and the ROO sat right in our driveway. Cover did a great job, easy to put on, no problems. This year we built the ROOport, but still will cover with the Adco as well. Want to do everything we can to protect the investment.

This will be our 3rd year with an ADCO cover. No problems with scratches, mold etc. It is fairly well made. We did have one area that rubbed througdue to how I installed it. The patch kit that is provided does a good job. It's easy to put on. Just sweep off the roof, loosen the screw on the radio antenna lay it down then roll out the cover. Total time including straps underneath and front and rear cords is about 15 to 20 mins. I'll put it on in December down here.

Keeping it covered made a significant difference regarding dirt and debris over the winter.

No damage to the ROO caused by the cover.
