Well moving along on my floor project this past weekend. I have removed all bad wood (found 2 other small 1'x1' areas), cooked and applied Home Brew wood rot solution, mix and applied Wood Treatment to all questionable wood. Now waiting for everthing to cure to start installing the wood floor.

If I have time I will be creating a new thread in the Tech area and posting pics and steps that I have done.

Happy and Safe Camping, Robert.

The Setup:
96' Serro Scotty 25' 4x4, Diesel, Class-C(pic coming), 86 20' Chris Craft LTD,69 Wife,02 1st Son,04 2nd Son,2 dogs (Yellow Lab & Border Collie).

1/1/08--drove cross country after selling home in RI. Hit snow in PA, winds in VA and smell in OK and KS. Hit storm/winds in MT where Tractor Trailers blew over and arrived in WA 1/6/08 to meet up with wife and son who relocated in June. Calised hands from fighting winds and icy roads. Slept 2 days. Coherent on the 4th day and family moved into RV. Now living in RV til new house is purchased. Avg 16hrs/day drive. Now its all a blur.......

Had stainless steel wheel liners installed today (Wheel Masters). Sure beats the factory wheel covers which had to be removed to check tire pressure. They look a lot better too! Plus it was good to get the rig out and give it a run on the highway.

I grabbed the last of the beers left in the fridge from the weekend trip to the inlaws, and today will head to the Avi Casino for a dump session!

Today I replaced the awning fabric on my A&E 8500 series. Mine was about 8 years old and starting to become brittle. It was the first time I have ever done this task. My neighbor helped me take down and put back up the awning roll .Took us about 90 minutes start to finish.

New material ready for the SUN!!

Like old travel decals? me too!

Today it was four new tires for the rear axle. Got some BF Goodrich commercial TA's for cheap at Costco.com then after the new tires were installed I went to the truck scales and had it weighed front and rear.

If it does not rain I would love to wash the outside and clean the inside for the trip we are taking in Feb.

Replaced the rear u-joint, wow, it was in bad condition. It was telling me (thru vibration) on our last trip, glad I didn't ignore it.
While wife test drove us I studied camper door to find air leak (whistle). Now know where it is just gotta figure out a fix.

Watch the freezing rain stick to it as it sits in the driveway
