Had the transmission fixed. We are done for the season and parked in the yard. Went to move it to another place, no reverse, no gears. Called Ford, they said to get a certain oil and put some in. Did that. Called an rv place who refered us to a place who refered us to a place. Found out evidently we hit something and got a dent in the pan and it caused a leak. Could have been worse.

Now I'm reading what folks are doing to fix up their rigs.

Well the last 2 days we got a new Tire. Filled the Propane tank. Rebuilt the kitchen drawers, AGAIN! Installed a new digital Thermostat, much easyer to use. Installed a couple new Led lights ( definitely need more) and now getting it ready for cold weather camping, thicker blankets, flannel sheets etc...

2004 - 23ft Gulfstream BT Cruiser. Got the fridge fixed so it will switch over to gas. Installed a trickle charger. Fixed it so running the engine charges my house battery. Replaced floor carbon monoxide detector; replaced the one on the ceiling with w co2/smoke detector combo (it actually talks as well as alarms). Having all the roof seals redone (factory missed a few spots). Cleaned out water heater and checked anode.Oiled the retractable steps. Checked all fluids in engine, batteries and generator. Winterized. Still have side seams to check.
Ok, I confess. My mobile RV repairman did the work.

I have done it that way. But it takes a lot of tank flushes to get all the pink stuff out of the tank.

Drain fresh water tank first then add pink stuff to tank. Drain and Bypass the water heater if you have a bypass. If not it takes a lot of extra pink stuff depending on size of water heater. Run water pump until you have pink stuff at each location. Most RV's have water line drains at the end of the piping so open and get it there too. Drain holding tanks. Dump pink stuff down each drain. I have never had any trouble getting it out of my tanks in 20 plus years. Just drain pink stuff and flush tank twice.
