We took the C out for a drive last night around the countryside. The sister is getting really comfortable driving the C. Planning a short trip for Labor Day week.
Finally got the LP/ CO2 combo detector hooked up and installed. Had to make a backing plat out of oak, because the orginal installer cut the hole so large that the new detector which is a little smaller would not cover the hole. Done. Today order a back up 3 camera system from Rear View Safety, should be here next week. That should keep me busy for a while.
And wonders of wonder we had .40" of rain this morning.

Today we took out the large window on the curbside to remove the rest of the rotten wood on that side. Not on the NT below, but in the old Dutchman.

Hi,

I thought I'd return it to storage--oops! It is a provincial holiday.

We just got back from a week's visit to New Orleans. As usual, a couple of things went wrong. The refrigerator stopped getting LP gas from the tank and would only work electrically. We carried our perishables on the road in a cooler with ice in it. Then we discovered a water connection leak under the vanity. Finally, on the way home, we stopped for lunch and the generator wouldn't crank.

So, I gotta fix these before I can entertain any offers to buy it. I'm fixin' to drop the price to see if I can generate any sound offers. So far, I've had only inquiries.
