We've got the truck loaded-if everything goes alright we're going to be able to make it. Didn't know until this afternoon if we were going to get to come or not. May leave here in a little while, haven't decided yet-may wait until early morning. We live along I-70 toward Wheeling WV, looks to be about 170-200mi. According to the park website there are still sites available close to everyone, didn't make a reservation, just going to 'wing it'. See y'all tomorrow. Gary

We made it home(4:30). 4 hours driving time-@205 miles. Now unload the TC and head north to get my tractor-yard really needs mowed. Diesel-$100.06, camping 2 days-$45, getting to meet you all-priceless??? , na, maybe we won't go 'that' far. . Can't wait to see the pics. Gary $ Marie

We got home about 3pm and the trailer tire held it's air all the way, not sure why it was low this morning. (Dan thanks for the compressor)
Somebody was being helpful Saturday(and we appreciate it) but as we unloaded we found two irons and a towel in our generator compartment and I can't remember who the other one belongs to, maybe Pat, Marie or Cindy speak up or forever hold your peace.
We had a great time and I have filled my annual quota for wind, will post photos soon.

We got home around 2:30... Was a real windy ride home. We had a great time as always.. Thanks for doing the things you do Spott!!!

On a sad note..We were home early enough to watch the whole Cavs vs Celtics game and the resulting Cleveland lose.. I hope Detroit sweeps them.

That video I was talking about on youtube is called "James the narcoleptic tree cutter" type in that title on the youtube search under videos-guaranteed to make you smile-I would put a link here for it but I don't have a clue how to do it. The movie I was talking about to someone is called "Long Way Round". About 2 guys who ride motorcycles around the world. A few clips are on youtube also. Joe Jeep you'd really like the one about the river crossing-russian 6 x 6 crossing a river that is running very high and very fast. Gary

Thank You! Everybody for a great weekend & B-Day surprise. That was the best birthday ever.

I got most of the weather taken care of, I just didn't figure the wind.

We ended up with some silver ware that belongs to Skyski, get me a PM & I can mail it to you.

dee and i as usual had a blast! great to see the usual suspects, and some new ones too. we took the back roads home to look at a used tt. it was pretty beat so we moved on. we got home about 5 pm. mpgs were down to about 9.5 in the severe head wind. should have pics up soon.

dont forget old orchard park. oscoda, mi july 11 th to 20th. dee and i would love to host any one that wants to stop by. try for sites 92,94,96,98 or as close to those as possible. this is our yearly site and we have pretty much anything we need, so you can pack light. you can park your boat in the water at your site. great private beach on the back of youre site. we have a medium sized tent set up at all times, and air beds if any of you need them.
hope to see yall there! ill have brad put up a sticky on the july gathering soon.
