I've been an Apple user since the Apple II. Yes that means I also suffered thru Apple III, Lisa, Newton and so many other Apple missteps but... OSX is the real deal. iPhoto, iTunes, i-etc are sweet.

I've helped a lot of people switch from Windows to OSX and training or should I say de-programming is required. It's just that most of the time I'm trying to get ex-Windows users to think simple... they all seem to think it requires multiple complex steps to do something... and of course everyone knows that Mac knows in advance what you want to do and handles it for you.

Yes, Apple programs are so simple, one can't right click on a file in iTunes and delete it.

I can on my computer. Maybe it's different on the Windows version of iTunes, but on my Mac I can right click and delete a song in iTunes. Here's link to iTunes about right-click: Right Click iTunes. See "Delete"?
I found the hardest part of converting to a Mac was the ease of use. For example, to delete a application, just drag it's icon to the trash bin -- done. No Add/Remove Programs, uninstallers, etc.

My family always had Macs as did I until I went to college and needed a PC for my programming classes. After 7 years of total PC's I went out and bought myself a Macbook Pro. It works great, and the design is perfect. Thinner and lighter than the same size HP it replaced. I still need Windows XP for a lot of things so I run Parallels which keeps Windows in a nice tidy box. When I open the lid, it's on, when I close it, it's off. Battery lasts 3 hours for a 17" screen - fantastic.

Also, I think the mini's are perfectly suited to a RVing for someone opposed to a laptop. You could even make one part of your home theater and use a shared LCD TV for video and computing - wireless keyboard and mouse.
As far as ease of use goes - I think most people with XP experience should be up and running quickly. And for light users there is a lot less to accidentally screw up.

Odd.......... Right click and look at my options. Even more odd, it's the same on my Windows machine.

Awe, here we go again!
Mac perfect, PC sucks. Bla Bla Bla!
Why do MAC users have to start post just to boost their ego?
Why do I have to deal with a show and tell any time there is somebody with a MAC?
I have yet to see any advantage to either platform that makes one or the other prefect! MAC, yes, better OS, better basic packages. But what happens if your video card goes out on a weekend? PC, parts are carried just about everywhere. PC, can be built and or pieced together as cheaply or as expensively as wanted.
