During our last trip the plug that powers the tv in the bunk will not work on any power source, no inverter, geni or land . Any suggestions? All other electrical seems to be working fine.

You obviously checked the fuse panel I assume.

There is a safety feature that shuts off the TV when the engine is on. Either turn off the engine or seek string on bypassing the safety feature. hope this helps.

Take the receptacle out and check the wires. I had one in the bath room that the wire broke off. I assume it was from vibration and how carelessly they jambed the wires in the box. Like kc2kj said check the breaker as it is a separate circuit to the tv area (or at least on my 07 34SS it is). Also check the breaker to make sure the wire is not off there.

The TV plug may be wired into the GFI circuit, along with the GFI 110v outlet in the lavatory, check the GFI reset in the kitchen as this is where the GFI is reset on my 35GS HD. Check the GFI outlet next to the sink and if it doesn't have power then the GFI has been tripped. The only other thing I can think of is the wires might be loose in the converter/ auto-transfer box under the drawer next to the fuse /circuit breaker panel. There was a thread about the converter having loose screws a few weeks back in the Seneca's

The outlet for that TV is probably powered by/through the inverter. Check the inverter to see if the gfci in it has tripped, it should be located on the front panel of the inverter.

Thanks,
I will check it out. I have bypassed the engine safety already and it was working like a charm. I will post what I find.

just finally had time to check the seneca. I took the cover off in the bedroom and discovered two resets on the end of the inverter. One of them needed to be reset. Problem solved!
Thanks for the help

Bill
