We have a new 2009 Holiday Rambler Admiral 35SFD on order with bunk beds. After looking at many floorplans, we think this one is best. It is the only one with two couches instead of a couch and chair and it also has a very large bathroom with corner shower. Holiday Rambler is willing to remove the mirrored wardrobe closets and replace with bunk beds (for a small fee), which is fine for us, since there is plenty of dresser drawer space. After a few years in our current RV, we don't really use the closets anyway.

dbbic, for those of us looking at purchasing a bunkhouse, would you be able to share the pricing you were able to obtain along with the various options you ordered? Did you come close to the 30% off of MSRP that $4+/gallon gasoline seems to be pushing dealers to offer? Thank you for any insights you may have.
By the way, that floorplan looks awesome! Were you able to get a solid sliding door between the bedroom and the bunks?

You may want to wait until the 2009 Newmar models are revealed. I have a 2009 brochure and there are a few new bunk models for 2009.

Gulfstream has a new 8358 model coming out for 09 that has four slides with bunks and two opposing couches - each on a slide with the ISC 360.

I have a 2009 Ventana with bunkbeds on the way. If you want to tow more than 5000 pounds and not pay the GDP of a small country for your class A MH, then Newmar is the way to go.
The Newmar Ventana, All Star and (new floorplan for 2009) Dutch Star all have bunkbed floorplans.

I'm really curious to see the new Newmars; particularly their AllStar. According to a thread in another forum, the loft model (3950) is possibly being replaced with the 4159 which would have a loft and 2 queens plus the bunks in the hallway like the 4154 (that would be room to sleep 6 (plus another 6 if you get the double sofas and sleeper dinette)). That being said, according to that thread, they are having 'clearance' issues with the loft and the master so maybe the concept won't work too well.
In case you are curious, here's floorplan (no idea where it's initially from, I just 'stole' it from the other thread):

That being said, maybe it's been abandoned because this link (http://www.padefamily.com/gallery/v/2009NewmarAllstar/) has lots of information on the 2009 AllStars and doesn't mention anything about a loft (only says 'two story bedroom has been replaced with 4159')

nor cal wrote: Sorry--bad reference in the sort macro--it should be corrected now. The revised spreadsheet can be downloaded from:

Because it has one sort macro, macros will need to be enabled in order to use it. If you wish, you can verify the macro ("sort_rankings) is a simple sort macro by editing it.
Can you please republish the spreadsheet? I when to the link and it has been removed due to inactivity.
This is exactly what we need to find our "perfect" coach. We are going to go fulltime with our 4 year old.
Thanks to you and David for putting this together.

NorCal, we're still working out a few details on the configuration and partitions for the bunks, in addition to the countertops. We are also ordering a low profile cooktop with solid surface countertops over the cooktop, rather than the standard black metal hinged lid. As for options, I can't think of one we didn't order, other than the driver's door. As for pricing, you can't beat a DeMartini deal. Contact Tim or Nate in Grass Valley, CA and you'll be very pleased.

We also looked extensively at the Allstar 3950 Loft Edition, but abandoned the idea due to basement storage. Behind all of those doors (because of the mid engine) there is only one or two that can hold any cargo. Other than that, they sure have a winner.

Add the 2009 Winnebago Adventurer 35Z to the list of bunkhouse class A's. The 35Z has the bunk beds as an option. It looks like the same floorplan as the Sightseer 35J, but on a Workhorse W24 chassis with 24,000 GVWR and 30,000 GCWR.
