I got the ok to go Mark. Then I looked at the forcast. It was originally suppose to be rain now it's sunny. I'm gonna have to pass on the show. I will be working in the garage. I'm still tring to set it up from when we moved in last year. It looks like a tornado hit it right now. Your more than welcome to stop buy for a Canadian if you want on your way threw. Just excuse the mess. lol

Trevor, The show was EXTREMELY busy ! ! ! I couldn't believe how many people were there. I purchased the Lowepro 100AW. I'm sure it will be sufficient for my needs. I think it is great ! ! I sat in on an Apple iLife software demo for the better part of an hour. That truly is the way to go for anything to do with photos and video. Making slideshows, DVDs on iDVD, editing, publishing to a website, e-mailing and countless other functions are very simple to do. Very user-friendly! The other seminars were just too busy to even take advantage of- literally all seats taken and about just as many people (if not more) standing. It was actually ridiculously busy. I'm gonna keep my eye open for the 55-250mm IS lens. Right now it's about $349.99. I think it will be essential for me. Anyway, as far as any reading material: there was next to nothing there, a few flyers and that's about it. BTW- DW & I went with DW's sister and her husband and we ended up going to Flamboro Racetrack Slots - I won $300.00 on a slot machine and won another $59.00 on horses. So, now I can justify to Rosie buying my new lens, lol.

How'd you make out with your garage? You'd better be finished that by the Rally! lol. I'm sure your DW would kill you if you're not! lol.

Cheers, Mark.

Rickards Red, Rickards Honey Brown and Alpine / Moosehead. Anyone remember a few years back a truck load of Moosehead that went missing on it's way from Saint John, NB to Laredo, TX bound for Mexico?

Sorry I have been off the air for a few months, just getting back up and running, we have officially moved to Nova Scotia! We had put our house up for sale on the 11th of January, sold on the 19th, and the closing date was the 22nd of Fefruary. We looked and looked and could not find a house so we are now having one built for us, supposed to be ready on May 3oth, looking forward to it as we are living in a small (and I mean small) apartment. Pictures of the house have been downloaded to our pics as I reply to this topic.

I have a little better news we may make the rally! We are off the 1st 2 weeks in August, going to a good freinds wedding in New Brunswick on the 2nd, it was supposed to be the 8th, then we are all leaving on the 4th to go camping. My luck is changing everyday for the better. I could not miss it either way as I am the best man. We are now discussing where to go camping, I have been hinting quite hard that we should go to NY. Plans are being finalized this weekend. Will keep you posted. Oh, they doesn't have a HTT, they have a TT but I don't think that will stop them, and the more the better.

Jeff

PS Good to be back online, hard to get online at work as it has been very busy. How is everyone?

As I am still in the hoping stage that we will be going, I was going to bring a little of all of them. Maybe one night we can have a beer social and try a bunch of different types, I bet our Canadian beer will take first place! lol

Hoping it works out, we still have alot of work to do on the house and since we don't have any other trips planned we can tackle this one! Once again I will have to see if I can work the magic!

Jeff.

PS Man I have missed alot of posts, only on page 30, lots of reading to be done!
