Here's my outside shower
I cut a piece of 1" rigid foam to a snug fit and carved out a notch for the door lock
I cut a slit with a razor blade to install Popsicle sticks at each end
I than drilled a hole with a small screwdriver (Phillips) to allow for the pull rope
installed in place, use pull rope to remove in the spring and the Popsicle sticks keep the rope from pulling through the foam.

You can also put a piece of egg crate foam cut oversize a bit to seal it up.

Don't forget the shore power cord opening.
Make a hole for the cord to pass through, and use a piece of foam pipe insulation to fill the hole in the rigid foam when the cord isn't being used, and to fill the gap in the door where the cord passes through.
