If you lost your mate would you seek another mate to continue RVing, Or would you RV by yourself? If so where would you start to look?

I can't imagine finding another best friend like I have. So, I guess I would have to do it alone. If so, would have to downgrade. No way can I back and pull that fifth-wheel.

If I lost the wife, I'd continue with my rig, and "maybe hook up" down the road, but that's a bif IF. Now i think the Mrs on the other hand would downsize for sure, probably a small Class A. Don't know if she'd find another mate or not. That's a BIG shot in the dark for ANYONE to think about.

DW and I have talked about this very same thing. If she passed, I would cremate her and carry her on my travels so she can continue to be with me. We have much more of this great country to see.
If I pass, she would try to find someone who also enjoyed RV'ing so as to continue to take the rig out.

I would do it alone until I could drive to where the next one lives. I already know who she is and have the DW's approval. Boy am I lucky!

Unanswerable question because we don't really know what we'd do in a given situation until we're actually faced with it. I know a lot of us THINK we know what we'd do, but do we really? When a friend's wife died he said he'd never remarry but he did eight months later.
