Lose my mate?
Nahh never happen, (She memorized the license plate and RV model so it wont help, she'd find me anywhere!!!
(Damn that LoJack and GPS, who says' modern tech is all that!!)
Besides, where would I start to look?
The next camp site???
The next RV show?
How about the Next Robin Williams RV movie premier? (Hey, It could happen!!)
Humm???
Now correct me if I'm wrong but if you plug in the head phones, increase the imbibing and log onto this site for all hours or turn on the TV,
would this count as RVing alone???
Things that make you go Humm!!

In the movies and cartoons, the ball and chain go around the ankle, has someone changed the rules already???

I don't think i will want to remarry after DH passes on. I can't imagine that anyone would want to marry me (and my assorted baggage )Therefore, I think I will have to buy a MH and head up to my sister's house. I'll pick her up and we'll travel to the Southwest and live-aboard for a couple months, maybe do some workamping. Then we'll head back up to WA for the summer where we'll live in her house and pick fruit and can veggies, make a quilt or two.Go to Yellowstone for a week or so. Come fall I'll fly back down to Georgia so I can enjoy the holidays with my grown kids. Then down to Florida until April when I'll have to go back to Washington to pick up Sis and do it all over again.

OK, you guys inspired me.
To avoid any suffering I'm gonna solve this dilemma for my DW.
If she goes first I'll change religion to one of those that let you have multiple wives and I'll just drive to each home all over the Country in my RV.
If I go first then I'll have it in my will to bury me like the old time Egyptian rulers and have her, the dog, the cat, the RV and any other possessions buried with me!!!
(Do you think cable or Sat TV reception will be affected by the pyramid and all that sand??)

I would take her to a taxidermist, have her stuffed, and put her right next to me where she belongs.

Do you promise to keep her free of dust? I thought of that also, but the DH does NOT do house work.

She would sell everything, and go live in the same retirement community as her sister, in Arizona. There's no way she would RV by herself.
Me? I really don't know,....don't even want to think about it.

Unfortunately I had to recently face this very question. It did not feel "right" to go out on the road for the first 2 months, not only I seriouly missed the help but I seriouly missed the company. I took the advice of people on this forum and kept the Motorhome. I am going to travel with my kids and grandkids, and myself with my wife sitting in her urn. My relation with my wife was so special after loosing her just about 4 months ago I cannot even begin to think of anyone else. We actually grew up together dated continuously in high school and college and then got married. I do carry her urn with me on all trips, I do talk to her daily. I do miss her deeply. I do thank all of the good people that shared a moment of their time to give me advice to carry on and enjoy the road as before.
Thanks again...

Wow...we have pondered this....
We would both continue to fulltime. DH would probably keep this rig.
I would probably park this fiver somewhere and get a smaller rig and head out. Who knows?
I doubt I can find anyone to equal my soulmate. We have been together since we were 16.....45 years together! We even think of the same things at the same time. That is really a hard thing to contemplate.......
