I will be bringing my 2002 Endeavor Home Thursday just purchased. I posted on another Subject (Spare Tire) I think I will purchase a used wheel if I can find one to have a spare, I don't have my manual with me are they any thing in the manual that tells me what size wheel's I have, if not how can I tell. Another forum member in the Spare Tire topic said they was a difference in size between front and real are they any thing to this. Thanks Roy

No your front and rear tires are the same size. In your case 275 x 70 - 22.5

Very few people carry a 22.5 wheel, some carry an unmounted tire. Several reason for this:
A mounted tire weighs close 170-200lbs, hard to lift.
An unmounted tire weighs 130-150 pounds.
The tire is almost 4 feet in diameter, difficult to store.
Lug nuts are torqued to 450 pounds, you need large air tools and air supply.
You need a 20 ton bottle jack to raise MH, not light and not cheap.
The 22.5 size is much more reliable than the 19.5 and 16.5 sizes.
There is a national network of road service providers servicing the trucking industry (22.5 size).
For all of the above reasons you will find that most owners of MH with 22.5 wheels do not carry a spare, they rely on the truck industry road service.

You need a 8.25"x22.5" hub piloted 10 bolt wheel. A new wheel would be between 75 & 125 dollars. You can lift most of the coach weight with the leveling jacks, so a 5 ton jack will work, 450 ftlb of torque is a 3' piece of pipe on a breaker bar & 150# of your weight, & the mounted tire is 38". You can use the pipe to lever the tire onto the hub, weight that woy is less than 80#.

Chuck hit the nail on the head. Also, paying to haul that extra weight ( tire and rim, tools etc.)around is not going to be cheap at todays fuel prices.

The tire size is on the tire, as others have said, they are all the same size. You tell a dealer what chassis you have and what tire you have and they know the rim size. However as others have said, if it's a 22.5 the cost of hauling the spare will likely exceed the cost of a service call if you should have a blow out, plus as it happens spares do not last as long as primary tires (With the exception of tires that are stored out of sunlight and specifically made to be spares, like the donut spare in your car) so I'd strongly advise against keeping a spare. Instead carry a bit of cash in your VISA debit account.

The Patriot next to us at a rally had his front tires replaced because he thought they were developing a funny wear pattern. They weren't that old yet so he gave them to us. So, now we have two spare tires. I'll built a tire carrier to fit on our tow bar extension for not much $$. We have over 3,000# of unused CCC on the rear axle, so the weight in not an issue. We only plan on carrying the spares when traveling to Alaska & such where a new tire can be expensive.
DW & I can manage moving an unmounted tire around, if needed, including getting it on/off the roof of the Jeep. I've worked with mounted tires more than I want to remember. A mounted tire is way too heavy to mess with.

There should be a sticker on the wall behind the drivers set with the wheel size. You don't want to buy an 8.25" wheel if the motorhome has 7.50" wheels.
