1. Yes plenty of issues on 2 different years 2003 & 2006. Both lemon lawed

2. Definitely not.... Just wish they would give me all my money back , rather then replacing the lemons.

The problems with these threads is too many guys lie about their lack of problems. No shortage of guys with problems to be found.

I have owned from new a 2004 f250 Super Crew PSD it has had exhaust manifold replaced at 64,000 miles under warranty. It currently has 84,000 miles what you need to know is the lightest load this pickup gets is my 18,600 lb 5ver. I use this in my business as a deliver truck for farm machinery. It is a bull and yes I will buy another one.

Now Mr creeper where do you get off calling PSD. owners liars. If you have had problems so be it but calling PSD owners liars well I truly think you need professional help. I hope you haven't gone your hole life with this attitude

Had 2 2003's.
First one spent longer in the shop than I had use of it. It could not climb a hill. Got rid of it fast. It had 80k Km when I got it and 80k Km when I got rid of it. First time I towed my first ever 5th I ended up having both the truck & trailer towed.

Second one came with 91k Km. Had both head gaskets changed & a flash for rough when cold. No other engine problems. Occasionally it just looks at me when I put the key in & refuses to turnover or start. Removing the key, locking it with the clicker and then trying again usually fixes it.

Another Truck - I do not think I will need one. The dual back end sits on the asphalt no matter what. She will tow wherever I ask her to go & I like to go where others won't go. The only reason I would trade her is to get one in warranty again. When they do wrong they get expensive very fast!!!

You guys may have misread creeper's comment. I don't feel he meant to say that ALL 6.0PSD owners were liars, he probably feels that after the problems he had on two different trucks that maybe some guys aren't as forthcoming as they could be.

I am not trying to speak for him, but creeper probably realizes, as I do, that not all 6.0PSDs are having the problems that he, and I have had with our trucks. I'm sure that there are cases where some owners have had zero issues, just as some have had seemingly endless issues like he, and I have encountered with the respective trucks that we regularly comment on.

I do feel however, that the majority of 6.0PSD owner's experiences fall somewhere in between the very good, and the very bad.

Once again, just my $.02

I agree with what you stated. It seems to be really good or really bad.

03 Extended Cab F-250 4x4 short bed with the 6.0

Awesome truck until the mandatory emissions recall/re flash. Mileage went down, power went away, check engine light came and stayed on 45 different times. Tried to trade it in and the dealer told me to take a hike, that the truck had no value to them and they would only be able to wholesale auction it to get it off the lot.

The happiest day of my life was when the truck was commandeered by the company I subcontracted to.

Never own another Ford as that was the 3rd that I had bought for towing duties. The 2000 I had was lemon lawed by the dealer internally and the 00 replacement had the exact same issues.

I spent more time at Ford dealerships than any other brand I've owned. Not my favorite pasttime.
