Have a 99 endeavor has a small leak under dash by drivers feet, can see drops coming off a cable, traced cable to the backup camera, question is does the backup camera hook up to an antenna on the roof

No the camera should be hard wired to the display on your dash. It is probably routed along the roof and goes by antenna wires coming through the roof.

Check your marker lights just below the roof. I had a leak that show up around the driver window, I kept sealing the window with no fix, then the leak also went to the floor under the dash. I checked the clearance lights and found one with the sealant gone, caulked it and no more problem with window or under dash.

My 2000 endeavor had no sealant along the bottom part of the clearance lights. Also had the windshield gasket (with integrated rain gutter) lose it's adhesive and become a rain funnel. Maybe one of these items is your problem.

Also check the caulk on the roof where the front cap meets the fiberglass roof. I have to periodically caulk the sides of this joint where there is no eternabond tape.

While the back up camera is hooked by cable. the back up cable is a long, long way from the dash, and the way that cable is routed a lead at the camera end while not impossible, would be... Well... Unusuall to say the least.

And for the water to make it all the way from the rear to the front.. Flat out impossible.

As others have said, look up front for the leak or spring for a SEALTEC 2000 test

This test is done the easy way, They pressurize your rig (about 1psi) and wash it down with soapy water,, Bubbles = leaks

I have to go with the marker lights. We had a similar issue on our Phaeton. Every once in a while we would notice water dripping down from the co-pilot side vent fan. Traced it to the marker light just above that location. My first clue was water in the lens.

Is it possible your heater core is leaking? If you notice a "sweet" smell, that might be the anti-freeze solution leaking from the heater core. In autos, 90% of the time, leaks under the dash are heater core leaks.

Turn your heater off and see if that stops the leak. That would be my first guess, and only a guess.
