As I understand it, you simply turn them all on. They work in conjunction with eachother and will not burn out by using them in ambient temperatures proximate to freezing.
We had heated tanks in our Cambridge and had three switches and they identified which tank. I would have though Teton would have had them identified? Good Luck... GBY....
