Just curious 18seeds ... but where are you getting the larger and additional pictures from for the XP Camper? I went to their website, but I am not seeing the ones you put up in your thread (just the small double side shot).

Are there other places that restrict propane? Seems to me that the kind of places where this is designed to go would have few restrictions, if any. I'm obviously missing something...
I believe propane is harder to find in some areas...south of the border or other countries. I assume propane leaks can kill you.

Also, Earthroamer has a good write-up about the advantages of no propane:

I understand that xp campers will be available as a shell model that you can finish as you like, including having propane appliances if that is your wish.

That makes good sense, as well. Thanks!
The Earthroamer uses diesel appliances, which I assume is tied into the mail fuel tank, which makes sense for a one piece unit like that.
With this XP Camper unit, someone stated that it is designed for a flat bed truck. Would it be removable? If so, then how is the fuel connection made, or is there an additional on board tank? Of course, this is assuming that the internal appliances are diesel fueled (which is not stated on the web site), and that the truck is also diesel fueled.
Or is this a custom body that is designed to be permanently mounted on the truck frame by an outfitter, like a utility bed? In that case, a permanent fuel connection would be no issue.
So many questions...

Do you have some sort of contact with this company? Where are you getting this info regarding flat bed and aux tanks, appliances and storage? Only thing anyone has ever seen of this camper are a couple of computer rendered concept pictures...
just curious. I'd like to know more.
