Be careful if you are speaking of your fresh water tank. The Flying J here locally only has non-potable water there at their dump station. Would not want that in my fresh water tank.....

I have had the same problem for the second year in a row takes about 5 or more fill & flushes to get the smell out and it seems to come back in a few months. Next spring I will pull the pop off and add bleach mixed with water directly into tank and flush that way. Adding the bleach to the fresh water tank takes to long to pump 6 gal into the HW heater. After the HW heater flush I will add bleach water to the FW tank and run that through the entire system.

why not follow the instructions in your owner's manual..my manual gives the directions on when to sanitize, clean, etc.
