The rear cap on most MH have a plug that just pluges in the lights on the rear cap. Go to one of your lights that doesn't work and try tracing the wires back to this plug. The plug just might have come unplugged. Good luck

Changed the fuse last night and this morning just as we were pulling out of the driveway, the coach tail lights went out again. stopped down the road, put in new fuse and unhooked the trailer lights and coach tail lights still working. So it must be in trailer wiring. So now to have that looked into........
Likely culprit is in the -- hook up – often the wires will come loose from driving down the road.
My suggestion is when you get where you are going to take the plugs apart and check for a wire that has come loose and shorted out. Either in the Coach or the Toad or the wire you use between. Best guess it is in the Toad. Only other thing I can think of is a frayed wire that has a dead short in it.

You might try taking your wire connectors apart(the one that goes between the rv and the toad). Look for a loose wire that might be crossing over and arching.
"put in new fuse and unhooked the trailer lights and coach tail lights still working" From this post it appears that the toad is being trailered, so not a toad at all, if so then the fuse for the tail lights might be a bit on the low side to also handle the trailer lights, The exchange of information rests on a clear understanding of the problem!!!
