Think about the lengthen of the neck and what the hitch is hitched to when you watch it.

That is so correct. Good grief, towing with the strength of a tin can! Then weaken it slightly with drilling, bolt holes, rivets, or whatever.
It may work just dandy for moving things around a dealer's lot, but whoa Nellie, I surely would not want to take a 13,000 pound fifth wheel down the highway like that.

Notice also. The TV is not new. I don't think the video is new either. I saw a video of a hookup like that in the late 60s or early 70s. Except. They were using a VW bug as a TV.
However. Think about it. It would be great, If it works. But i wouldn't want one on top of my SUV. Would cover the sunroof.
As for the strength. That's a GM. The top is probably as strong as the GM hitch would be.

What a stitch, too funny.
Not real sure I would want to 'push' a 5'er BLIND into a CG site though.

Pretty cool for the old days. I can't imagine getting into the bed in the 5ver though. I think there was also an attempt at replacing the trunk lid of a regular car with a special hitch for 5ers.

The bed up in the top of the 5er looks like it will sleep about 20 people.

It's neat concept, but I'd wager the weakest part literally of a Suburban is it's roof. For this to work as well as advertised (and be safe enough for my family) the TV SUV would require extensive bracing and strengthening of the roof and pillars. Plus how heavy is that pin weight.
One more thing I agree with others that say this isn't new...the TV is old, and the 5er looks old too.....but ti's cool because I have never seen it before.
