I could not agree more. Well put together, captioned, easily read, and interesting photos.

Well Done!

Very nice post... the area is perfect for truck campers. It's hard to believe that Mt McKinley is so close.

Thank you for sharing

Perhaps you meant Mt. Whitney?

Nice post. I've been DV 3 times and rode dual sport motorcycles over the same back roads, some of those roads must have been a chore with the TC.

Thank you for the wonderful pics. We've been to DV once, want to go back and your pics just reinforce the fact that we didn't get to see everything.

Safe travels, please post more pics of your travels.

What kind of maps, etc. do you use to prevent getting completely lost? Are the roads marked? Do cell phones work there? Looks very unforgiving of any mistakes or wrong turns. You must be very adventerous. Thanks.

I make my own maps everywhere I go with National Geographic Topo. We also use the GPS and follow a route. The back roads in Death Valley are not marked at all. The cel phone worked in some places and not in others. With the maps and GPS we don't normally make wrong turns. We typically don't go alone, but when we do we file an itinerary with friends and check in regularly.
