Think those kitchens(CabelasCampKitchen) are really great -- but I cannot use. Most of my camping is in Yosemite or Sequoia/KingsCanyon. All food/foodstuffs &/or other scented items must be stored in provided metal 'bear box'.(ice chests included) Got a bunch of plastic totes for food that go in and out of 'bear box'. Have old metal 'ammo' box 8"x14"x24" use forcooking gear -dishes - etc. Doubles as a step for PuP. Made an error in judgement few years back getting ready for trip to Yosemite put a couple of apple juice & pudding packs in there for transport -- forgot to take them out. About 3am heard a WHANG - 'old Mama' slapped that thing open and was sitting on her bottom a few feet from the door with pudding in one paw juice in the other having a fine old time. Able to run her off with pots/pans -flashlites - air horn -- clean up campsite ALL FOOD in big metal box. Heard her walking around the PuP later that nite but left every thing alone.

I just put down the tail gate on the truck and use that as my table. I must admit at Costco they were having a clearance on a coleman camping kitchen and I picked it up. I have not used it yet. I think not using the tailgate will be a good thing.
