Highest tank capacity in the RV industry. More hot shower time. More hot water for domestic use. Same sidewall cut-out as the 10-gallon models. Only 1-3/4" deeper than current 10-gallon models. Steel glass-lined tank with anode rod protection.

Perfect thank you!!!

Of course you can put in a larger storage tank.
I forgot to say I tried to find Roy Roger's place last time I was in your neck of the desert did someone move the museum or did I just miss it?

Hi Pete. Yes, I do want your answer, that is why I asked a question!
My expections were not to have you explain how to install it. I didn't think I asked that question did I? . Lighten up....geese....just joking... I will take that post off if it offends you soo okay.

I appreciate you telling me about an on demand water heater because I did not know these existed and I will look into that as well, it sounds great!

I have received alot of great advice here.I have been upgrading alot, it's fun, exciting, i'm learning alot and it makes for great weekend projects. I call it "pimping my rig".

Pete,

Yes they did. As a matter of fact my best friends were best friends with the Rogers family. After Roy and Dale passed the son took it over. There was talk of turning ito into a much larger attraction, then they decided, Branson MO I believe. It is no longer in Vicotville.

Oh, the Rogers house still stands in the same location in Apple Valley near the golf course. About a 10 min drive from the freeway of of HWY 18.

I have been looking up the point of use on demand water heaters as advised and it looks like a great upgrade. I'm going to do a little more research but I think this is exactly the solution i'm looking for.

Thank you for the advise.

We have a 12 gallon Suburban in our Mobile Suites. The cut out on the body does not appear larger than any others but the tank is 'deeper'. If you have the room I do not see why you could not install this with some reasonable modifications.

If your hot water tank has space beside it like our 1st TT it was under the sofa Lowe's sells some small 110volt water heaters that may do the trick. You would have to run a seperate electric line to the box where you plug the TT in at.This setup would only work if you are planning to stay in one place. A friend did this and it worked great.

As far as adding an additional storage tank, the problem with that would be how to keep the water in that tank hot. It would eventually cool off and then you would be back to your original volume in the water heater.

As far as adding a tankless heater, there is only one that is designed and approved for RV's. It retails for around $900.00.
You will also find a thread in the Forum about a member that added a home model tankless to the basement of a MH and it seems to work very well but this is because he had a space under the and isolated from the living area and there wasn't an issue with carbon monoxide from the exhaust. It would be much harder to safely adapt one to a trailer.
