I can't think of anything in North Liberty but there are several in the Coralville and Iowa City area. they would all be within 12 or 15 miles. All ranges from good to bad. Most major chains are represented.

Don't have any off hand, try North Liberty, Coraville or Iowa City. They are all close by, in the order given.

I found a Sleep Inn North Liberty, it is at exit #4 on I-380, that is the North Liberty exit. There was no phone number listed or I would send it along. That is not too far from Sugar Bottom.

I forgot that they just built the Sleep Inn. I would say less than a year old. About 6 or 7 miles from Sugar Bottom. Just go east through four way stoplights. At nest stop sign turn left right after you cross the bridge at Mchaffey Landing turn right and go up the hill. Just follow the road.

Thanks for the info. I passed the Sleep Inn idea on to our friends. Just looked at Lake Macbride website and looks like the fishing might be good there. Especially Walleyes. Haven't checked out Coralville Lake yet. Expect we will spend most of day Saturday fishing. If you all plan to do that also, perhaps we could have a big fish fry that nite.

I would imagine that my father will bring his boat along and go where ever they may be biting. I would guess since he is such an early riser that he may hit the res and go to the stump patch first before the pleasure boaters start in. After that, McBride may be the place he will end up. That is if he doesn't have some job to get done first.

Ok, do we have enough rain yet? Hanging out in camp driveway is alright but nothing beats hitching up and going somewhere! Got the camper all stocked and watered/fueled up. Just waiting on some decent weather to enjoy.

We spent the weekend at Clear lake State Park. It was a miserable weekend but thanks to DirecTV we got by. Didn't even get to light a campfire. At least we weren't home.

I'll put this on top.

Looking forward to the rally. This will be our week away from home this summer. I'll probably make a few motorcycle trips by myself but this trip will prpbably be the only one together.

Will anybody be going to the prom? The local thrift shop has a bunch of gowns but I haven't seen much for tuxedos. I don't even have my old leisure suit anymore. Unless someone else is planning on going I'll forget about looking.

What are everyones plans?

We plan on fishing, hiking, playing horseshoes. If this rain continues like it did last nite!!!---- fishing won't be so good.
