Purchased a new to me 2006 Jayco Seneca and I am confused by the main television connections. As you can see in the photo I have 4 cable jacks on two separate wall plates behind the TV, the top plate has two jacks with the top reading satellite and the bottom connected for roof antenna and has the booster on it. The current connection as shown is utilizing the bottom jack for roof antenna has a single cable coming out feeding a splitter. From the splitter, one cable apparently connects directly to the front TV and the other enters the lower wall plate that I assume feeds the rear TV. My question is.....
what does the fourth jack on the bottom second wall plate service? Why is it there? Exterior TV connection?

I can assume to connect an external satellite dish I should connect the cable from the top jack on the top plate to the satellite box and then the out from the cable box to the splitter so it will feed both front and rear TVs. Yes / No?

I assume that your configuration is the same as my 2008. The top plate which has the booster, connects to the cable/satellite ports in the water utility basement outside and the roof antenna. (That is the top terminal goes to the terminal marked sat. The lower terminal marked cable and is aided by the booster is 'y' connected to the outside terminal marked cable and also to the pop-up roof antenna). With the booster 'on', the roof antenna is powered. With the booster 'off', cable function is effective. If you use the booster trying to watch cable, terrible reception. The lower plate, the one with the unused port serves the bedroom and the main TV. The unused port is prewired for a roof mounted satellite dish. You should find an un-terminated RG-6 cable in the access area near the rear of the LR TV. If you were to install such a dish, then this cable would connect the dish to the the unused port and give you access to the internal wiring. As you indicated the other port uses a splitter to connect from the port to the Bedroom TV and the main TV. There is also a port in the outside entertainment area for using an external tv. There should be a splitter which provides the signal to it. I have not checked mine. Hope it helps.
