I saw those reading lights and will be ordering a couple tomorrow. I'll post after I install them.

I'm interested in those reading lights as well. I came close to ordering a couple but talked myself out of it. Three of the six round ones I ordered are the red/white combo. I find that often we sit outside until bedtime but frequently go back in the camper for a refill or to use the facilities... because of all those refills. I normally leave a light or two on. Now I'll just leave a couple of the red LED's on so we can see where we're going.

Ok I finally got around to installing 4 LED's today - I replaced the factory halogen lights under the cabinets, also I changed the switch panel and tail light assembly and my XBM.

I will be ordering more LED's for the camper soon- I may replace all the fixtures with LED's- it's only money

I've ordered 2 of the Iboats LED reading lights and will get them in about 8 or 9 days. I'll put up a new topic after I get them installed with the results.

Trails2004 and ALL! I replaced my old Bargman tailights with the new LEDS almost a year ago. They are great! I did it after I realized that when the sun was shining on the back of my camper the turn signal could not be seen by the folks behind me...NOW they can't miss them in the day and surely not at night. I got mine at PPL motor homes and the price was the best I could find...it was cheaper to buy the whole unit than to buy the replacement bits and insert them into the original holder. Took about 15 mins per side to rewire and install. In Key Largo had rain storm last night and it is 86 or so by the end of today...GREAT not to be in the Pac NW...:>) Capt PJ

I replaced all of my clearance lights last year. As your clearance lights get older, you are forever repairing bad connection. The LEDs also are less likely to allow water to leak into the TC. With eight LEDs per unit, cost about $12, and designed to be seen from any angle.

I have not yet done my tail lights.

I have two of my lights starting to strobe in one of the lines of leds inside the light. Not the whole light, just one of the lines of LEDs inside the light. Anyone else. They are still under warantee only a month old. Capt PJ

It is 86 here in Fort Pierce, FL. Working on the TAN!

Capt Pj... were you running the LEDs on shorepower?

One of the main reasons that I used and recomended the Seasence stand alone Dome lights was so that they could be used for boondocking and the original lights were still in place for times when plugged up to an 120V AC power source.

Several years ago LED failures seemed to happen during the plugged -up times.

I haven't had any failures yet, but then we boondock almost 100% of the time.
