I installed some Littlites at the head of the bed with 12" arms...great for reading and doesn't shine over on the sleeper...low volt usage...also has red as first detent on switch, great for looking at the clock. The arm makes it really useful to see inside the side closets and beside the mattress. About $35 each well worth it. Also have the puck type at strategic spots, over table, in fornt of tv cabinet and towel cabinet, over counter at back. May install more if DW requests...but so far with the new 1161 we are finding battery usage is very good and manageble, of course I have the really deep cycle NOT cheap 12v batteries, which I find has made a huge difference.
