I'll second that. We've been there a few times and liked it. It's somewhat typical in an RV park setting. Not especially wooded but set up well for larger RV's and there is a place for tenters out back. Nice pool, spa (one adult and one family), well equipted store, nice play area for the kids and close enough to Solvang if you're planning a trip there as well.

Been there, loved it, no second thoughts necessary. Solvang is a must see, in Buellton don't miss Andersen's Pea Soup Restaurant, and don't miss touring the Central Coast Wine country.
I agree with the others. Flying Flags is a very nice park, with good people running it. I've been there many times and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Let us know what you think about it after you've stayed there.

The only down side I can see is most of the sites are narrow and some a bit hard to get into. Other than that, Nice pool, Nice spa, Nice store, Nice laundry, Nice game room, Nice lounge, Nice people, Nice location.
I had second thoughts because the rv review site had some negative things about the park. I think if you have something bad to say people will comment on that. Like they say if 100 people have a good time and 2 do not the 2 will complane

Big price jump!!! I know they did some improvements, we are going for memorial and they are hitting us for $75 a night @ 3 night min. I have RV'd there for many years and I think this is a bit crazy. like previous stated this is a typical Rv Park not a resort. I know what some of you are thinking.....you dont have to go and your right. Im just venting I guess, this used to be a great alternative to expensive hotels and dining out now it seems to becoming a wash. Does anybody agree w/ me!!

we are state park campers and this was our first RV park to camp in.
they have lots of nice amenities and are great to dogs. but we felt that the sites were too close. but we weren't used to that.
it's in a great location and is very clean. if you have kids, it also offers a lot for them to do.
but we wouldn't go back because it isn't our style of camping.
