I worked from the time I was 12 until 2 years ago. I got tired so I retired. Now feel guilty if I am not doing something constuctive.

Taught high school mathematics for nine years. Then was supervisor of mathematics instruction for a large school system for 18 years. Spent the next 2 years as head of the testing, research, and program evaluation for the school system. I got tired of trying to explain mathematical and statistical issues to other people and decided to spend the last year I needed for retirement in the classroom. I had so much fun there that I taught for 5 years beyond what was needed for retirement. While I was working for the school system, I also taught mathematics at a local college and in a prison. Didn't really like the prison job but couldn't find anyone who wanted to replace me. Always worried that the guards may forget I was a visitor and not let me out.

"Digital Imaging Specialist" at a major university.

How I got to be a "Digital Imaging Specialist" is something I don't want to bore you with. I will say, however, that as a guy who graduated college in 1973 with a degree in "Sociology", I feel I'm doing pretty good.
