I've noticed a number of folks on the TC forum have a 5th wheel or trailer in addition to their camper. I do, and--truthfully--sometimes I feel like friends and neighbors think I'm a little extravagant (not that I care.)
So I'm wondering how many have multiple RVs? And why?

We are fulltimers- we live in a 39' motorhome. We have our Eagle Cap for "vacations"! Just got back from a snowmobile trip to MI in the camper. We also plan to take the truck and camper to Alaska next year.

TC and tent trailer. We don't actually have the TC yet but we should hopefully be going to pick it up in the next week or so. The TC is going to be for traveling/exploring and the PUP for those times we want to stay in one spot for more than a day or two.

The fiver sits on a leased site and we go on vacation and play around in the TC. Best of both worlds.

Similar story here. TC for travelling and a Tent Trailer which we leave (most of the time) on our remote acreage -- a sort of "cabin" without the expense. Up until two years ago, we also had a Volkswagen Westfalia for shorter trips.

Try three, our main home is the MH, then a small 5er and a 11 1/2' T/C. Why, I don't know, as the 5er and T/C are seldom used, just setting at the sticks and bricks.

We use our 32' 5vr in the late fall & winter for week long stays at the coast & extended stay trips. We bought the TC to camp the lakes, rivers & trips to see our grand kids.

Snowriver for getting back in the woods on 2-3 day ATV trips.
Bighorn for staying for extended periods. (Five weeks in AZ this winter)
My wife if always "busy" and the TC gets pretty small during her active times!

I use the TC for hunting season and sometimes those hard to reach places that are special to me. The MH was my DW's idea and we both enjoy the room, a bed like home and a hot shower after riding ATVs.
