Fly, have a good trip. Just place an order for good weather. Those good people in Alaska like to oblige us by putting on the sunshine and breezy cool weather.

JC, I know you LOVE the snow!

We made it to SD this morning. And guess what! It snowed here last night!!! It is cold and windy, but so far the roads seem dry.

Just a couple more weeks and we will be there.

LOVE wasn't exactly the way I described my feelings for the snow this morning after dh and son and I spent about 2 hours shoveling. We did measure before shoveling and it measured 22 inches since 9 AM yesterday. Now I wish I had a hot tub to soak in.

Safe travels!!!! We will be departing NJ June 8. Before then, having the RV serviced from "head to toe", and unlike most of you, I will be un-packing the rv. I am a FTer, so I'll take out some stuff and leave w/family in NJ to lighten the load.

Fullmoonoversalem; thanks for the RT2 tip, we will head across on I 80 then up the MI UP and west on 2. We will spend some time at Glacier and then on to Banff before Alaska Hwy.

We have southbound ferry reservations with several port layovers. Anyone else using marine hwy?

Keep the posts coming, it's fun to read up on everyone's adventure/planning, etc.

We didn't go that way. We had a longer delay in Elkhart than we anticipated and someone talked DH into trying back roads. We should have stuck to our plan. I guess I should not complain. I guessed we would have some bad weather on our way.

Safe travels all.

Keep warm up there in AK. Hook promised to keep the roads clear. Maybe he will shovel your snow.

If I had known Hook promised to help out, I would have called him yesterday. Our temp up here is still comfortable. Right now at 8:30 AM it is 41 degrees. Snow is melting already so that is good. We should be able to still go out camping on mother's day weekend.
