Well, it sounds like you are getting a good deal! See you on the road!

They are holding a red one for me, it has 1400 miles on it, will be sold as new, full warranty. Most of the miles were put on during there loan out for chase vehicles during the Albuquerque Balloon Festival. Yes they are 2WD but that is what I want. My lifetime experience leads me to believe that 4WD only allows you to go further into the woods before you get stuck. Thanks for your replys but I bet I would have purchase one tommorrow anyway. Jim
P.S. They also come with $500 cash rebate for internet buyers, a full tank of gas, and free tire replacement for as long as I own it.
I meant to say "diesel".

Sounds like a good deal to me, make sure they service it before you take delivery. As far as the four wheel drive comment, I was taught to go as far as I can in 2 wheel drive and then use the 4 wheel drive to get out...
I personally would not buy a truck w/o 4wd living where I do. If you never take it off the blacktop then 2wd should be fine and cheaper to maintain in the long run.

I bought a Dodge 1500 quad cab that was previously a Dodge program vehicle. It had originally be titled to Dodge, bought it with 300 miles on it, 1&1/2 year old. Bought for right at 50% off of sticker. Decent truck with full warranty. Though had quite a few issues with front brake calipers, a transmission that liked to forget it's shift strategy, and it's 5.2ltr engine had a porous block.

I bought a truck similar to this one, mine is 2007 5.9 CTD, SLT 4x4 Long Bed and I got it for $33,800. It had 1,800 miles on it, plenty of warranty left on it and the price was right. Dealer wanted to get all the 5.9's off the lot to make room for the 6.7's. I say go for it!

And now I bet a lot of those dealers wish they had more 5.9s to those previous 6.7 buyers from the looks of it. Alot of 6.7 owners have had it with trips back to the dealers for reflashes , and regeneration issues. From the sound of it, you have to keep the truck running at highway speeds to keep things functioning properly, great if your a hotshotter.

I bought it two days ago and it is fantastic. Never had so much pull. Came with one key and no owners manual. When I went to get another key I found out they wanted about $250 for one. Went back to the Internet sales manager and said I want another at no cost and he said "OK". And he ordered an owner manual set at no cost. Also he said that because they sold it "used" rather than new, could I wait around for an hour so they could inspect it and qualify it for the Dodge Certified Used Car plan. It actually added two years to the powertrain warranty. Total price was $28,602.97 including taxes and license fees. My Credit Union had the loan value at $32k and the average retail of a used 2007 at $36k. Except for a disasterous 30 minutes with a finance manager it was a great experience. After the deal was done, I looked up the owner and asked him to watch the video, (yes they video the finance manager closing the deal) and asked him to see if this is the way customers were supposed to be treated. Today my salesman said, "What did you do? The finance guy was fired today. Made me smile. So if you see a pearl blue Dodge Diesel 2500 with a Jayco trailer on the way to Las Vegas for the Nascar race at the end of the month wave. I'll still be smiling. Jim

You are better off with the 5.9 as a Daly driver & you will get a lot better millage. If you are going to pull most of the time the 6.7 has more power & it likes to work, it does not like to play. And you got a hell of a deal on a great truck so be happy & keep smiling.

Man! my brother in law just told me he was unjustly fired from a good job as a finance manager at a Dodge dealership due to an irate customer. He has 6 kids, a spend crazy wife and a sick dog. That was YOU? ?
Oh and congratualtions on what appears to be a deal of a life time. You will love that 5.9.
