Traded in our Pilgrim 303BHS on a Denali 295BS-DSL this past weekend. We certianly wish the Pilgrim would have lived up to our expectations. We special ordered it 2yrs ago after having a great 24BH. The floorplan was great but the Pilgrim quality and customer satisfaction never came close to our first one....sad. Maybe that why our dealer doesnt carry them any longer. Those that currenly own one I sincerly hope you stay satified with yours. Ours must have probably been a fluke.
Denali offered dealers during these slow winter months units that have options not normally available, at least so as I was told. Leather couches one of them L-shaped, auto stablizing jacks, power awning, micro/convection oven, just to name a few. Qutie a bit different floorplan but worth the switch. Stroage is a little on the lacking side, but we probably take too much on those weekend trips anyway.
Sure hope the switch to a Denali was worth it. We can't wait for spring like everyone else!
Need to chage our signature pick!

We've had incredible success with our Pilgrim and are still very happy with it. We love our Pilgrim. I am so sorry your trailer didn't hold up to your expectations. Did you contact Dave. the owner, at Pilgrim Industries about your problems?
Bearnkat, The unit leaked water in through the windows. The interior doors didnt open or shut correctly. Many other fitment problems and quality issues. After driving three hours to Indiana to complain to them in person, since the phone calls did nothing and our dealer couldnt get Pilgrim to play fair. They agreed to haul our unit at the end of the camping season back to the factory at their expence and pay our fuel to pick it up in the spring. What a waste. Some of the items were corrected, several not. I almost left it there and came home without it. They hurried and slammed a couple of things out they "forgot" while I waited. They agreed to have the balance done back home. That was as big as a hassle getting those done while using it too. Finally there was no fight left in this tired dog. I am glad to here that you are happy with yours and I'm confident that there are many others. I just share my experience diplomaticly if any wants my opinion of Pilgrims products and service. Its no suprise our dealer quit selling them.
I looked at a 30 ft Denali (34 actually) and it looked nice inside with several features we liked, but the two chairs and couch were really uncomfortable to my liking in addition to the colors of them. Liked the double door bathroom layout also. Decided to stay with our 2006 Savoy LX which we like even better. The rear kitchen Denali did have way more counter space tho.
Hate to hear any thing bad about pilgram, as I am going to pick up ours FRi. Trading in a keystone. And I do expect minor issues, as with any house on wheels. And I usually try to take care of minor deatails myself. cabinet doors and such. It all has to have a certain amount of flex. So a miss aligned door or the such I expect. But leaky windows, that stinks. Of course when I was looking to trade ours in I looked at the new Passports, and one had a floor full of ice, that leaked from a window. I hope we both, well I hope we all have great luck with our campers, new, used or whatever it is. Good luck, and come on spring.
