My 1/2" cordless drill with a adapter from CW does the job for me. I even saw one fellow use a corded drill with a adapter. Either way goes up/down real quick.

I also use a cordless drill with a 3/4" socket but also make sure to keep them greased so they go up and down smoothly and quickly.

I use white lithium grease on the threaded rod. just a little goes a long way and watch out for build up of road grime. My jacks came to me all greased up but after about 5 camping trips most of the grease gets bunched up and falls off. Road grime doesnt help either but you cant avoid it.

Here's a question from a newbie. If you don't use these jacks for levelling, then how do you level your trailer? Is there such a thing as levelling jacks, or are you supposed to work only with the tires?
Thanks All

I looked at camping world and it looks like you drive your RV onto these. So, these go under the tires only? Makes sense.

Yes, you just drive your RV or TT onto the blocks to get it level. If you need more than one just stack another on top.

Warping the frame is a minor problem next to pulling the seams on the corners and roof loose and creating water leaks. Your dealer should have covered this when you picked up your camper.

1st- Level side to side using blocks under the low side tires and don't just block one tire on a tandum wheel system. (Camper still attached to TV at this point.) Once level side to side or close then...chock the wheels.

2nd- Remove from TV and use front jack to level camper from front to back. Once level "side to side" and "front to back" then --

3rd- Place blocks under stabilizers and crank down till snug. I use about one complete additional turn of the crank handle to sinch them tight (this does not lift that point on the camper more that 1/2").

Additionally you may need to tighten your stabilizers a little the next morning if the ground has settled under the blocks. I have also figured out from years of camping is stabilizer jacks work best if you don't extend them out to their max limit. Use more blocks to only have to lower them about half their max length or less.

Hope this helps!
