We've been verifying that these posts are not from the vendor (which would be against the forum rules), but from customers of the vendor who may (and probably have) have been referred to this forum.
Big Ray should re-read the above post. Please read all the one post wonder. Also take a look at the poster and you will see that all they talk about is RVW. Do you think that they are not for or from RVW. Please take a look at all there past post and it won't take long trust me and then tell me what you think.

Rv sales are DOWN we all know that. I feel that RVW are trying to post (AD'S)on here to get as many sales as they can. I'm sorry but that is just WRONG. If they want to put ad's on here they they should PAY FOR THEM. That's all I'm saying. If anybody feel that I am wrong. I'm sorry I don't feel I am. They are misleading a real NEW MEMBER by doing this. We all try to help every one out on here. Who are they helping out? There SELF AND THAT"S IT!

I agree that posting ads on here would be WRONG but accusing a member on here of working for RVW also is just WRONG unless you can prove it. I respect your feelings toward RVW for whatever your reasons are all I ask in return is that you respect how I feel about them, even if it is different than how you feel. Just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean that I work for them, only that I have a different opinion than you do.

I am glad when someone brings up the "warranty work will be hard to find" because if you buy a trailer from RVW's they don't approach warranty work the same. You take it somewhere that fixes RV's and have them give you an estimate for the repair, if it is covered under warranty RVW's tells you to go ahead and get the work done and pay CASH FOR IT and then submit the bill to RVW's who will reimburse you. The RV repair center treats you like a paying customer and the only downside for me is the money out of my pocket while I am waiting for my reimbursement.
As they say, your mileage will vary. Your warranty experience is not what all buyers experience. A friend of mine bought a PUP from the old Campers Factory Outlet in Kenosha, WI (I think the unit is a Viking). When he needed a warranty repair, not a single authorized dealer in SE WI would touch it, not even when he offered paid them cash. He was told in no uncertain terms that they will not deal with customers who did not buy from an authorised dealer. The factory even offered to reimburse him, but obviously that didn't help him. Then the factory asked him to bring it to thier shop in Indiana. Not a good option for a working man with a family. They ended up sending him the parts for free and he did it himself. Knowledge of this wouldn't stop me from buying an RV from a wholesaler, but it certainly factors into the equation.
In my experience factory authorised RV dealers, though competitors, are also like family. They stick together and unauthorized dealers are viewed as outsiders.

I'm glad this is still going.
I bought my TT from RVW in March '06. I'd buy from them again.
All my warranty service work has been done locally. Never had a problem until now. I am into the second year warranty that Forest River offers. The local dealer now says they can't work on it and that I must go through Forest River myself. Forest River says they can't do anything until the dealer says what's wrong, sends in the forms etc... Well I called RVW and told them, they then contacted Forest River who is now sending me a part. Yes I'll be installing it, but hey I'm able and the part is free. I'm glad RVW made the call to Forest River. And how does it make me feel about the local dealer? If they want work on one now in the second year warranty, do you think they will on my next one even if I buy it from them? I don't think I want to take that chance, I go back to RVW.
Oh. I'm not a new member either, and not advertising.
Have a great day
