Gaffney, SC. They have a great facility there with free overnight spots to sleep in and do all maintenance procedures and updates, recalls, etc at very fair prices.

Freightliner chassis are built in Gaffney SC. It is a very nice area. They offer a Factory tour at 9:00am. I have taken the tour and enjoyed it very much. Also if you buy a Freightliner MH you can return it to the factory for you service. I do this for all my regular maintenance. I am very comfortable with the knowledge of the service people and the prices are very reasonable. The Gaffney plant has become very cramped due to a contact to produce all these little FedEx vans. A few months ago they moved the motor home service across I-85 to a different facility, but it is the same factory service. they have hookups there so you can spend the night. Also Gaffney is a very famous shopping outlet town, so there is plenty to do.
On my next MH I will probably upgrade to a Spartan chassis, but the part I will miss is having the Freightliner Gaffney folks to count on for my service needs.

Here is a photo of their new service area in Gaffney. It's been open for over a year now.

Here is a view of the area where they allow you to stay. You only get electrical - 50 amp. No sewer or water at the sites. There is a dump station in the photo. It is where the four yellow short poles are in the foreground.
