Just wanted to let those who might be interested know that RV.Net has now started our own magazine of sorts at blog.rv.net. We've recruited 30+ top notch writers who are also RVers from around the country to contribute. It would mean a lot to me, as the sponsor of the forums, if you could take some of your valuable time to go on over there and see what it's all about. And, if you like it, do two things: post back here with any suggestions on how to make it better, and sign up to get the Daily E-mail Digest. Its totally free, no strings attached!! If it doesn't appeal to you, that's O.K. too.

If you do sign up for the email please remember that it requires you to enter a secure key on the second page (which you will be given) and you also will receive an email from "Feedburner" that you must click on to activate your subscription. You can unsubscribe at any time at the bottom of each edition.

Where is the connection to the RV Net Blog? It used to be next to the "Newest" section at the top of the page. Did I miss something?

I've checked out the Class A motorhome blog. What is the point? Help teach me. How is it different than the forums? Does an author "start a conversation"? I also don't "blog" so subscribing is foreign. What does that mean? I don't know what RSS is??? I know a great deal of time and thought went into this Blog thing. Teach me why it's needed. I'm new to the website, less than a year and the forum has done everything for me. What does the Blog do that the forum doesn't and vice versa. Thanks for your help. I've felt like I was left out on the who "blog" world that is out there. Seems like an old bulletin board to me. Thanks, Mike

1269 - I pretty much echo your post. I got on there once mostly by accident, and , a least at that time, it was a yawner. To me, the meat and potatoes of this forum is helping others with your experience, and learning things from others. At least back then, I saw no gain from the blog. I shall try again, at the MODs request, but if all I get is how great the asparagus was at the 79 Palms campground in Okeefanokee county, I'll pass.

OK - I just checked out the blog. It appears to be 90% interesting reading and 10% technical, and pretty basic technical at that. I read stuff about mexican restaurants and Mother's day and saving my pictures in case of a fire. I also saw a bunch of ADS - the like of which I have never seen on the forum. Maybe when I'm in a retirees rocking chair, it'll be the thing to do, but now, I want to get back to the coach and re-check the specific gravity of my batts and maybe patch the door screen and do 46,932 other little tasks that'll come up.
