Good morning!
Well, today's the day that the contractor, painter and floor guy come back and finish everything up. I sure hope today is the last day. Once they are done, Ray and a neighbor will move my china hutch back in and I can load it up and get my house back in order!
According to the official rally counter 15 more days!!! Yippeeeeeeee
Lee, it's been nippy here at night, but very warm during the day. I just hate that it's getting darker sooner. I so enjoy a late summer evening.
Have a good day all!

Since time is getting close, will there be signs pointing us in the right direction once we get to the Lake? I know this time we are closer to the lake right? I think I still have the directions to the lake saved in the GPS.

This is driving directions to SAL, I've also posted them on the very first post of this thread.
Coming from the North
Take Highway 101 south to the Jolon Road exit (G-14). It’s just north of King City. Proceed south on Jolon Road for approximately 21 miles to the Interlake Road Intersection (the Lockwood Store will be on your left). Turn right onto Interlake Road (SAL South shore) and proceed for approximately 18 miles. Turn left onto San Antonio Road and proceed for 3 miles to the gate. It's approximately 45-minute drive from King City.
Note: we fuel up at the 1st Greenfield exit, there is a Shell station with gas & diesel and easy on and off the freeway. There is a gas station combo mini market when you first start down Jolon Road, not sure if the have diesel. The marina sells gas for a premium price at SAL!
There is no place to get diesel nearby so make sure you have enough diesel when you leave the rally to go at least 30-40 miles.
Coming from the South
Take highway 101 north to Paso Robles, exit on 24th Street (G-14) and proceed approximately 7 miles. Note, this is a steep grade but very doable in an RV. Turn right on San Antonio Road and proceed approximately 7 miles to the gate entrance. It’s about a 45-minute drive from Paso Robles.
there is NO...NO..I repeat....NO exit 24 North Bound....look for the highway 41 exit..... then turn left (or West if you prefer)

This link will take you to the San Antonio Lake Campground Map
Our campsites are located at the Harris Creek GROUP Camping area, not to be confused by the Harris Creek camping area! Our Group camping area is not listed on the above map, but it's right on the corner of Harris Creek and the lake. The road looks like a figure 8 and that is actually our group camping area.
Come in the gate and head down to the lake, it's a couple of miles from the entrance gate. SAL is a VERY big place!
Once you pass Basham Point Small point launch (on the right hand side) you should see the lake in front of you. Take the next right, which is the Harris Creek Group Camping area.
I will be posting campsite assignments next week. If you are planning to go to SAL early, please remember that your site could be already occupied when you arrive. Other campers will have to vacant our group's assigned sites by noon on Friday, Oct. 10th.

I just got a call from my little brother. Most of you guys might remember him as "fryer boy" from last Oct. SAL.
He broke his hand at work on 9/4 and has been in a removable cast. He went to his schedualed check up today and the doctor told him he will be off at least 4 more weeks.
The job he did for me was very important and I don't know if I can hang on much longer without replaceing him.....I have 2 more jobs that are suppossed to start in the next few weeks.
Is there a particular god that I pissed off??????
