Dagnabit! We may have to cancel. Daughter is graduating Kindergarden on the 8th, and family is trying to come from out of town for it and will probably stay the weekend. GRRR!!!!! Time for phone calls, I guess.

It is not fair. Junnie, Andrea, and Jazmin are camping this week at Veterans State Park and I am at home going to work every day. It is our schools systems spring break and since Junnie and Andrea both teach they are off having a great time.
Ok, I am through whining. Italian and Mexican meals both sound good to me. Hopefully we will have some South Georgia participants this time.

Sorry to hear that you have to work while the rest of your family is camping. We will be doing the same thing next week. The kids and I will be at Indian Springs and my husband will be going to work every day.

I don't think we are considered South Georgia, but close enough about 25 miles north of Macon.

We will be dry camping in the Oconee National Forest the weekend of April 26th. If anyone wants to join us contact me. We are planning on spending Sat. on the river (bring your own raft, canoe or kayak) and spending Sunday hiking some of the trails close by the campground.

Edit to add there is room for RVs and TTs where we are camping.

I didn't know that they were places to camp with RV's in the Oconee National Forest .. what part of it are you going to? We have a national Forest near us on HWY 83 north but the road to get in there is very tight and I don't think we would attemt to go there.
