Hi,
Has anyone seen a class B with screens for the back doors. I have seen it mentioned on some of the newer class B models. I have searched online and cannot find any info for back door screens for our 2006 PW. It is something we would be interested in as a way of keeping the unit cooler in the summer. I am not very handy so I don't think it is something I could make myself.
Does anyone have any info?

If you're talking about the window that swings out in the door, then you could purchase some insect netting material and cut out material a little larger than the glass opening and attach it to the inside of the door with magnetic strips. However, if the back door is some other arrangement, then perhaps another respondent has an idea. Guess that I first should have asked what model of PW do you own before mentioning one idea.

It's a PW Excel. I am looking for a screen that would fill the opening when both back doors are open back against the sides of the unit. I had read a posting from someone who had made screens for the windows using magnetic strips but I don't know how feasible this would be for the whole back door area, and as I said I'm not very handy. I was hoping someone had actually seen a screen door in the back.

Go to Eurocampers.com here.
I have used their screens for Eurovans which were very good quality. I have ordered rear screens for the new Sprinter and a windshield cover but have not seen them yet. (they are going to SMB first)

Keith

Roger - - Dont' despair - - You are doing an absolutely excellent job - - You chime in at the appropriate times and offer super advice for those who have questions. I have not seen moderators in many types of forums do the great job you do - - not to mention the contribution of your valuable time and knowledge. Some times it seems that the forum participants do get a little "frisky" - - but I know they appreciate your guidance. My compliments!! Jan Steele - 06/07 RT210P

Thanks Jan.
The forums have been so slow the last few days, that it gets really frustrating, as a moderator. I try to move, or post something, and the forum times out, sometimes I just have to go do something else, and then come back to it. The Tech's are working on the problems, and I know it gets frustrating for all of us. Anyway that's what I meant when I said, I wish I could fix the forums. RV.Net portal seems to be the worst, so members should try using the Trailer Life portal. http://www.trailerlife.com/cforum/index.cfm/fuseaction/listings/forum/21.cfm

Thanks for your input the people on this site are so helpful. I have looked at both of the web sites and they have been a big help because I can see what the screens look like when they are in place.
The cost is very expensive for some netting and Velcro so I have decided to see if I can make them myself. I went to the fabric store this morning and they carry the netting and the Velcro. They explained to me what I would need to do to attached the Velcro to the netting and I should be able to manage that, they also suggested I could us clips. My problem is, how do I attach the Velcro or clips to the PW? Any ideas?
