The wife and I will be going out to Yellowstone this year. The only time we can get two weeks off together is late July or early September which do you recommend? We will be in a TC so size is not an issue that will make getting reservations easier.

September will be better since families with children will not be able to travel at that time.

Go for September if you can. Late July is the height of tourist season there.

WE were there last Sept 14, our anniversary and when, not if, we go back it will be in Sept.... Take your time, walk the trails. It's not "if you've seen one boiling pot or geyser you've seen them all". They're all different... It's a great experience..
