I'm going to be on TV!
One of the former meteorologists on Channel 9 up here (Tony Schumacher) does short segments on the news with Cooking and Gardening Tips (Tony's Tips) and occasionally has guests on the segment. He does the segments from his home, which is just up the road from our store. I sent him an e-mail telling him that I'd love to do a Dutch oven segment with him when it gets just a tad warmer outside and he responded saying he'd LOVE to! We'll film the segment in April to have on TV in May! Isn't that cool!!!!!!!! Wahoo!!!!!
Oh, and it gets better!
A local radio station stopped by our store to talk about advertising for a camper that they're giving away. We got to talking about the live remotes that they'll be doing with the camper, and they want me to join them and do some cooking on the radio at the live remotes! Oh, my gosh! I certainly had an AWESOME day on Wednesday!!!!! I'm still in shock!

That's great! My grandaughter is on so you think you can dance tonight on Fox Tv. I was on the front page of the newspapers with JFK in 1960. We all get our 15 minutes of fame!

Congratulations!!! That is really exciting. And No you are not bragging. I would be excited too. I'm kind of thinking tho that since it will be on TV you probably ought to do some trial runs and have us sample everything to make sure it will pass the big debut. Hint Hint! Have a good time!
