Hi Lorelle....thanks for the pics from your D@d's memorial. I too like to think of Dick at the Rainbow Bridge with all of our furbabies....who knows maybe he is teaching them how to post pictures on RV.net! Lord know he helped me several times...Donna

Hi Judy, glad you got the card!

As for pics of my d@d's memorial, I was too busy running around setting things up to get any photos but the one at the end. There were a couple of RV.net folks there who I thought would send me their photos by now... I better email them again.

Wow, I hadn't read about his passing until today. I guess I need to venture out of the HTT forum a bit more often. I can see him up there now teaching everyone how to use a computer and post pix in the same kind & patient manner he helped me with when I was a newbie here.

It felt 'very' eery seeing this thread come up again today.

I was going thru my storage to pull out the box fan and immediately thought of Dick 'just this morning'.
He had posted a picture for me of how he mounted a full size box fan along side the entrance door of his MH on a piano hinge so you could swing it out of the way when not in use. Holding that box fan in my hands, it was almost as if he was right there saying 'yea just go get that piano hinge like I showed you'.
Still can't believe he's gone.

Thanks, Lorelle, for the laugh! Dick would have thoroughly enjoyed it, too! What better way to celebrate a wonderful life well lived than a toast with vinegar!!!

I was so glad that we had a couple of ORS representatives there at the Memorial Service. I still miss your dad every night at 7:00 pm EDT/EST as he and I were always the first ones to log onto the ORS chat site. He would be happy to know we are carrying on with his life's joy, and that he will be forever remembered in our get-togethers and nightly chats.

I just said goodbye to several friends I met on ORS, who convened here at my property for our 3rd annual Adirondack get-together, and his name was on our tongues frequently. Hopefully this will be an ongoing annual event.
